Forza Horizon 5 is out now globally, inviting players to race, drift and stunt their way through the Horizon Festival once again. As always, developer Playground Games has taken the series to brand new open-world location – stunning Mexico.
Forza Horizon, a spin-off from Turn 10 Studios’ Forza Motorsport simulation racing series, has quickly established itself as the best arcade racing franchise around. Each past game has taken place in a different location, namely the US, the Mediterranean, Australia and the UK.
As in previous games, Forza Horizon 5 provides tons of single-player and multiplayer content to play through, and its simple controls and driving assists are intended to be accessible for all players. This time around, the game introduces an accolades system through which players can unlock rewards as well as adventure events to progress through the career. On the online side of things, the Festival Playlist, Playground Games, and battle royale-inspired Eliminator modes all return.
All of this plays out in the diverse open world of Mexico, which is rendered in meticulous detail with impressive draw distances. If you’re worried about your PC’s hardware being able to keep up with the breakneck racing action, here are the PC requirements for Forza Horizon 5:
