Blizzard is reportedly working on a brand-new survival game for PC and consoles, job listings online confirm.
The company behind storied franchises such as Diablo, World of Warcraft, StarCraft and Overwatch is currently the subject of a big-money acquisition by Microsoft, but that hasn’t stopped it from staffing up for a new IP.
According to information available on Blizzard’s website, the game will be set in a new universe – “A place full of heroes we have yet to meet, stories yet to be told, and adventures yet to be lived. A vast realm of possibility, waiting to be explored.”
That’s all the information that is available at the moment, but considering this update was shared in an effort to recruit staff, the game may have not even commenced active production yet. And with Blizzard’s existing projects like Overwatch 2 being delayed numerous times, it will likely be a long time before this game sees the light of day.
